EducationUSA Islamabad is pleased to host “Beyond the Classroom: Building a Standout Extracurricular Profile,” a session designed for undergraduate students interested in understanding how extracurricular experiences can strengthen their U.S. university applications. We are excited to welcome Taren Smith, Deputy Director of Admission at Rice University, as our panelist. Taren will share insights into what competitive universities look for beyond academics, how admissions officers evaluate extracurricular involvement, and how students can build a meaningful and authentic profile that reflects their interests, initiative, leadership, and impact. Virtual participants will have the opportunity to submit their questions through the Q&A box and have them addressed during the session. In-person participants will have the added opportunity to engage directly with the university representative from the United States and ask their questions in person.
